Neat news: My short story “Five Cornish Game Hens” was an honorable mention in Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award for New Writers (which basically just means it was in the top 10 percent of entries).

It’s basically the most modest of recognition, but Glimmer Train is one of the most well known lit mags in the country (it publishes 1/10 of 1 percent of all submissions). So it’s a nice little bit of recognition.

So anyway, I guess I still need to get this damn thing published somewhere.
